Located at Shibrampur Madhyamik High School for Girls, the Girls’ Residential Unit was inaugurated on December 14, 2015. It provides a safe environment for 80 young girls, following a systematic routine under the care of wardens and house-mothers. The girls participate in extra-curricular activities like Yoga, sports, fine arts, and receive evening support classes for their studies.
Additional activities include a daily routine that includes studies, personal hygiene, outdoor sports, and household chores. They receive special training sessions in hobbies like sports, art, and music on weekends. CAS appeals for support to provide adequate nutritional food due to insufficient government funding from West Bengal.
