Serving Mid Day Meals in Government Aided SchoolsWith a view to enhance enrolment, retention and attendance and simultaneously for improving nutritional levels among children, the National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education (NP-NSPE) was launched as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme on 15th August 1995, initially in 2408 blocks in the country by free supplying of food grains 100 grams per child per school day at Primary and 150 grams per child per school day at Upper Primary level. So, in order to provide nutritious food to the students CAS is providing Mid-Day Meal to nearly about 2700 students in the following schools like: Chowbaga High School, Jagabandhu G.S.F.P. School, Shibmandir Prathamik Vidyalaya, Sri Rajendra Vidyalaya, Sri Sarada Hindi Vidalaya, Binad Promad Hindi School and V.S.Johori Vidyalaya.
